About Us

Hallowzine was founded in the belly of a pandemic, with the hope of collecting as much Halloween-related work as we could. Born out of a joke on twitter in 2020, this is our finest example of committing to the bit. All Lindsay wanted to do was write about Hocus Pocus and other spooky nostalgic Halloween movies. After a bit of joking back and forth though, we’d genuinely talked ourselves into running a whole digital zine focusing on our favorite holiday— the nostalgic, the speculative, the creepy, the crawly, and all the sweet treats in between.

Nova is a part-time Editorial Assistant and full-time demon wraith. Her favorite horror movie is Cats (2020).

Axii is a part-time Editorial Assistant, and full-time scaredy cat. He enjoys doing backflips and receiving tummy rubs.
